Writers' Guidelines

NETWORK AFRICA Writers’ Guidelines

Network Africa is published monthly in Nigeria with circulation currently reaching South Africa, Ghana and Liberia. The magazine aims to distil all that is positive and progressive about Africa and Africans, home and abroad.

More than ever before Africa deserves to have a media that tell more of its inspiring truths in all conceivable spheres of human endeavour—Business, Arts, Politics, Economy, Health, Entertainment, Environment, Culture, Travel, Sports, Science and Research. Network Africa will publish all such stories for its readership.

Contributors’ submissions will be at least 1000 words long and no more than 2500 at the lengthiest. Each write up must reflect depth in treatment of subject matter (written in English and in a style accessible to an international readership) and have a positive leaning (while not totally ignoring any negative facts where such details are unavoidable).

Write-ups submitted for publication in Network Africa will be previously unpublished elsewhere in print. (Send all submissions to editor@networkafricaonline.com)
Network Africa reserves the right to edit and publish all submissions as it deems appropriate at any given time. Materials that the in-house editors consider to be below standard or which has not treated the subject as expected will not be paid for, even when the magazine has specifically commissioned such.

Therefore, prospective contributors are advised to keep to the guidelines suggested with every commission.
Contributions will have a higher chance of acceptance if accompanied by relevant images (digital photos preferred)/ illustrations.

Agreed fees for all stories will be remitted (AFTER PUBLICATION) with cheques or lodged into contributors’ accounts (except where a contributor specifies otherwise).
