| What is that special something that the world or Africa should know about Cameroon? |
I'm proud of Cameroon because it's bi-lingual. It's an advantage having two official languages: English and French. It enables you to fit in when you get into an English or French speaking country or even Spanish? Because with French you can still easily communicate there, its very unique. And there is peace, because of the languages and the people who were colonized by two different people and have different experiences and expectations. That's about forty years ago-1961.Inspite of the challenges, there's still peace. Sometimes people will push their walls and nothing happens. So I really thank God for Cameroon. Nancy Sah |

| What is that special something that the world or Africa should know about Ethiopia? |
The first thing will be our calendar. We just celebrated our millennium 2000, a very big festival. The other thing is our culture. We have about 85 tribes and languages. We don't speak English like you people do; our official language is Amarik. We might speak English but not everybody does. The other thing is our hospitality. We're hospitable to foreigners.
The other thing about country is that nowadays it is developing; we have got many investments now, privately owned; and some others owned by the government.
And in Ethiopia, our father's first name is our surname. If you marry, they won't call you by your husband's name. No, not in Ethiopia. If I get married I'll be called Bezawit. That's all.
| And if I have to fill a document, it will be my name [Bezawit] and my father's. [Bekela]. We don't have so much western influences like so many countries on the continent experience because we have never been colonized by them. Bezawit Bekela |

| What is that special something that the world or Africa should know about Malawi? |
First of all, Malawi is called the 'Warm Heart of Africa'. The people are very warm. And apart from the fact of the people being hospitable, we have the Mzuzu coffee which is in high demand. Our major export is tobacco, followed by tea and coffee. Then we also have one of our local types of rice. It is called the Kirombero and it is very tasty. People actually come all the way from Zambia, Mali, Zimbabwe, Bostwana and South Africa to buy it. Martha Kwataime |

| What is that special something that the world or Africa should know about Tanzania? |
We have Mountain Kilimanjaro, the highest in Africa. Another thing we are proud of is the Serengeti and the historical site at Bagamoyo. It was a slave market, an old town with old houses and ruins. Another historic area is the Zanzibar, the land of Dhows-an old town with narrow streets and tall buildings built by Arabs. You can reach it from Dar Es Salaam. There they hold a lot of Arts festival. |

| What is that special something that the world or Africa should know about Uganda? |
The mystery in Uganda right now is the climate-the temperature is just between 22-27 degrees. Never goes down, it's always high. Not all that hot but the wind is cold; which is not common in some countries I've seen. Another thing is unity. We have different tribes and we are over 70 million, but we are united. If you go to the West, North and East, we're united |
| and people mix with other tribes. Then inter-marriage is not a problem. No issue of people not marrying from any other tribe. When you marry from another tribe, you have a big family. Another thing is our natural resources. Charles Drago Kato |
